TODAY’S TIDBIT: In the days before light bulbs, farmers relied on moonlight to help them Harvest their crops. The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox each year. A great pumpkin-colored Moon rising in the east is a nice way to kick off northern autumn. And it’s a nice way to end the day. Enjoy the Harvest Moon.
